PREPRESS PREPARATION

Adaptation of original layouts: Design Studio

Design studio "Conflex SPb" is a close-knit team with extensive experience in the field of packaging design and graphics development for flexographic printing.

The design studio has "Esco Artwork" software products.

Design studio specialists not only adapt ready-made original layouts to the features of flexo printing, but also solve creative problems to create new original designs

Production of photopolymer molds: Photopolymer mold section

Conflex SPb has implemented HD Flexo technologies with Pixel+ (Esko Artwork) and NExT (Flint Group) add-ons. They ensure mechanical stability of photopolymer forms and repeatability of circulations. The combination of technologies used allows you to select any printing block materials based on the characteristics of the image, the printed materials, the inks used, control the geometry of the point, and use special screening methods in the entire color range.

SEAL

The printing equipment fleet is equipped with high-speed printing machines produced by Windmoeller & Hoelscher, printing colors up to 10 colors. Working print format up to 1250 mm. The equipment allows you to continuously change the printing pitch in the range of 250-1250 mm. Technological capabilities make it possible to apply paints and varnishes in a separate pass onto finished laminates. The equipment is equipped with video monitoring systems, ink supply and viscosity control systems, and high-performance dryers that allow printing at high speeds. To quickly switch from circulation to circulation, Port-A-Sleeve and Port-A-Lift equipment is used.

POST PRINTING

Lamination

Two types of lamination are possible - solvent and solventless. Cold Seal can be applied to the material either in a register or as a continuous coating. Operating speed range for lamination: 200-400 m/min. Hot Melt, paraffin and wax-based glue can be applied.

Laser equipment

The installed equipment allows us to improve packaging and create additional value for the end consumer. Possibilities: transparent window in opaque material, perforation, notches, applying information to the material

Cutting

The cutting area is equipped with several high-speed pieces of equipment that allow for high-precision cutting into reels of the required width (minimum 25 mm).

Data Matrix.

​​Conflex uses equipment to apply digital markings to packaging. The production facility has inkjet printers for printing Data Matrix codes.
